quarter 1886 in the Salford R.D. - ref: 8d/172, the son of James & Frances
Finch (nee Hill).

neighbour at 100 Duke Street - John Higginson in 1941.

CWD Report No.92.   Died as a result of blast and splinters at 101 Duke
Street, Old Trafford from where his body was recovered at 14.10 hrs on the
25th December 1940.   His body was identified by his son J. Finch, 43
Langshaw Street, Old Trafford and released for burial to the Council's
contracted undertaker - R. Pepperdine (Undertakers), 31 Ayres Road, Old
Trafford.  His occupation was given as Labourer.

Buried 30/12/1940 - Burial No. 17,886.

CWGC - of 101 Duke Street, Old Trafford. Husband of Emily Finch. Died at
101 Duke Street.

The Finch family comprising - the parents - their son and their
daughter-in-Law were all killed in this incident.
