Actually died at Withington Hospital from injuries sustained at 201 Kings
Road, Old Trafford on 22nd December 1940.

Buried in the Communal Civilian Grave at Manchester (Southern) Cemetery.   
His son - Charles Griffiths, was also killed in this incident. 

Name listed on the Manchester (Southern) Cemetery - Civilian Memorial.  He
is also listed on the Stretford Cemetery Memorial as POSSIBLY being buried
there ????   I have now deleted his reference to the Stretford Civilian
Grave.
