1901 Census - Newton Hall Lane, Mobberley.    Nephew - aged: 7 - born:
Mobberley.     Head of household - Esther Cooper - Widow - aged: 65 - born
Warford, Cheshire.   Plus her two daughters and one son, aged: aged: 36, 32
& 30.

1911 Census - Newton Hall Lane, Mobberley.    Nephew - aged: 17 - born:
Mobberley.     Head of household - Esther Cooper - Widow - aged: 76 - born
Mobberley.  Plus her two daughters  aged: 43 & 45.

Death reported in the Knutsford Guardian dated the 9th October 1914.   He
left Knutsford on the 14th September 1914.    On the morning of his death
he had complained of having "dizziness of the head".   Later, during Church
Parade, he collapsed and died of asphyxia during an epileptic fit.  The
coroner, returned a verdict of death by natural causes.

The 24/09/1915 edition of the Altrincham Guardian reports that a total of
73 Mobberley men had, by now, enlisted and that Thomas Rogers and William
Cooper had been killed - the latter whilst training.
