Formerly 11772 - Lancashire Fusiliers.

The 17/09/1915 edition of the local newspaper reports that he had been
charged at the Knutsford Court with being AWOL from 'B' Coy 21st Bn
Lancashire Fusiliers since the 11th September.   His address was given as
Spring Gardens, Mobberley.   He was remanded in custody to await an escort
back to his barracks.
