Wounded on 3 Aug 1900 at Nr Rhenoster, near Kroonstad, Orange Free State.

Commemorated on the private family gravestone in Stretford Cemetery where
his mother is buried. 

His name is not listed on the Kroonstad Cemetery Memorial.   "In Memorium"
states that his name appears only in the Church register.
