Born at Eccles on the 27th January 1905, the birth being registered during
the March quarter 1905 in the Barton on Irwell R.D. - ref: 8c/705, the only
child of James & Lizzie Fulton (nee Pritchard).

His father who ran a Drapery business on Regent Road, Salford died in 1909,
aged: 32.

1911 Census - 5 Chadwick Road, Eccles.    Son - aged: 6 - born: Eccles.   
Head of household - Lizzie Fulton - Widow - aged: 36 - born: Eccles.  Plus
2 Boarders.  In 1914, his mother married one of these boarders - Norman
Marchant.   Norman was employed as a Dye-house Chemist for a Dye-ware
Agency.    On leaving school, Robert followed into his step-father's
business.   In due course, the family moved from Eccles across to Wilbraham
Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester.  

Robert married Mollie Feay during the June quarter 1934 in the Manchester
South R.D. - ref: 8d/264.  By now he was an Assistant Colour Chemist and
they moved into a new house at 1 Kenilworth Avenue, Ashton upon Mersey

1939 National Registration - 1 Kenilworth Avenue, Sale.   Robert Fulton -
Married - born: 27th January 1905 - occ: Assistant Colour Chemist.   Molly
Fulton - Married - born: 19th December 1909 - occ: Unpaid Domestic Duties. 
There was one redacted record at this address.   This was probably their
daughter - Sheila L. Fulton who was born in 1938.

Died in the Ministry of Pensions Hospital, Leeds, Yorkshire.
