the son of Frances Mary Rushton.

Staffordshire.   Also - Mary Ann Rushton - Wife - aged: 59 - born:
Birmingham.   Plus Frances Mary Rushton (mother perhaps?) - single - aged:
25 - born: Caverswall, Staffordshire.   Plus 1 maternal uncle and 1
maternal great aunt. 

1911 Census - Blythe Marsh, Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire.   Grandson -
aged: 15 - occ: Apprentice Artist - born: Caverswall.   Head of household -
Charles Rushton - Married - aged: 76 - occ: Farmer - born: Stafford.   
Also Mary Ann Rushton - Wife - aged: 69 - born: Birmingham.   Plus Frances

1906 and produced 2 children (Harold's cousins ?).

WO 363 - Enlisted at Lichfield on the 1st March 1916.   He was aged 20
years 7 months and resided at 190 East View, Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire. 
 Employed as a Grocer's Assistant.  Appointed as unpaid Lance Corporal on
the 4th June 1916, but reverted to Private on the 12th June.   Posted to
France on the 9th May 1917.   The record confirms that Frances Mary Rushton
was his mother and that he had no siblings.

Married - Hannah Brough during the June quarter 1916 in the Cheadle R.D. -
ref: 6b/522.

CWGC - Husband of Harmah Rushton, of 18 Primrose Avenue, Davyhulme,
Manchester.

The fact that his widow moved to Davyhulme appears to be Harold's only
ccnnection with Trafford.
